Are Humans Really Aliens On Earth?
A modern mind will often consider the concept of alien life to be of a small grey humanoid. Recent alien sightings detail these entities as having big heads, small bodies, and large black eyes. However, could the idea of alien life be much closer than believed?
Some scientists indicate that we, humans, are in fact alien to this planet. This would mean that humans are aliens on Earth. Therefore, the Search for Extraterrestrial Intelligent life may not be discovered in the night sky, but in our own eyes. Alien life could be looking right back at you when you look in the mirror or speak to a friend.
But how could anyone come to such an outlandish thought? Well, in truth, the more you dig into humanities’ past, the more you discover that we are like no other creature on this planet.
God Is Alien
Firstly, let’s tackle a small religious aspect of man’s creation. God, by nature, is alien. God did not originate from this Earth but did have a huge input in our rise. Some would look at this as sufficient enough evidence to state our origins are extraterrestrial in nature. We could also argue that aliens would look very much like us. As God created our race in the image of himself. However, if you are an evolutionist, none of this will suffice.
Evolution argues that we came to be as a result of survival of the fittest. A concept coined by Charles Darwin. The idea of evolution seems plausible for every animal on this planet except one. Humans.
- First of all, there are still huge gaps missing in the evolutionary tree of man. This means we are unable to accurately trace our lineage through time.
- Secondly, the time it would take for a species such as ourselves to become as intelligent as we have would take more time. It appears as though we have skipped certain evolutionary processes in order to be where we are.
On top of this, Dr. Ellis Silver’s book – Humans are not from Earth – provides an interesting argument. One aspect he contests is the effect the sun has on humans. The sun causes our skin to burn and even blinds our eyes. But, if we had evolved on this planet over the hundreds of thousands of years, surely by now we would have grown accustomed to these environmental endeavors. But we haven’t. All other animal life has, but not humans. Why? Dr. Silver believes the answer is because our true evolutionary beginning did not originate on planet Earth.
Panspermia is the idea that life is distributed throughout the universe by space debris (comets, meteoroids, dust, etc.) This happens when microscopic-life forms that are hidden and protected inside a space rock hurtle into a planet. The resulting chaos of explosion from impact releases the seeds of life onto the planet. If the environment is favorable, this life form will begin to evolve.
Milton Wainwright, a British microbiologist who holds a Ph.D. from the University of Nottingham, conducted an experiment into this hypothesis. The results were outstanding. He proved that microscopic forms of life still fall to Earth each day. Therefore, Earth life did not originate solely on this planet. But instead, it is universal. It originated from the depths of the universe.
Certain individuals believe that humans are nothing more than a science experiment. That we are ‘lab rats’ to a more advanced alien life. It has been proposed that ancient aliens spliced together the genes of ancient man and their own kin. This resulted in the sudden rise of Homo-sapiens.
Some scientists believe that decoding human DNA will give a true answer to our origins.
A large portion of human DNA is still uncoded, meaning there is still so much we do not know about ourselves. Furthermore, some aspects that we have decoded actually raise more questions than answering them.
