Government UFO Case Studies

Governments of the world have conducted numerous secret UFO studies. Each year thousands of UFO sightings are reported, and it seems many governing bodies take the matter seriously.

These five UFO case studies prove governments consider the subject a high priority.

Recently the US UFO study named the Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program (AATIP) has been in the spotlight.

Even the US Congress may look into the AATIP UFO sightings.

However, the United States of America is not the only country to conduct studies on a bizarre aerial phenomenon.

Furthermore, the UFO topic is also of great interest to the likes of Russia, Brazil, Chile, India, China, France, and the UK.

Below are five of the most compelling secret government studies into UFO sightings.

Chilean UFO Study

UFO photos taken in Minera Collahuasi, northern Chile, during mid-April 2013.

After the witnesses noticed a bizarre craft hovering in the sky, they took photographs. The Comité de Estudios de Fenómenos Aéreos Anómalos (CEFAA) checked the photographs for a professional opinion.

Once the careful study was completed, it was announced that the object shown in the photographs was not caused by any natural explanation or phenomenon. Therefore, the object was classified as unidentified.

Experts analyzed the original photo taken in Minera Collahuasi in Chile.

The CEFAA described the disc-shaped object as being five to ten meters in diameter.

Witnesses of the first hand UFO encounter said that it was able to perform aerial maneuvers they believed were impossible to be accomplished by a normal aircraft. The aerial object also maintained its presence in the sky for a couple of hours.

A witness took the photographs on a Samsung S860.

Over the years, the CEFAA has also released a number of videos of UFO sightings they have investigated.

The Advanced Aviation Threat Identification Program

In December of 2017, the New York Times published an article informing the public of a secret UFO case conducted by the US government.

Carried out between 2007 and 2012, the Department of Defence spent around $22 million of taxpayers money on the program.

The US has conducted UFO case studies in the past. However, after the termination of Project Blue Book in the 1960’s, people believed they did not feel a need to continue an investigation.

Obviously, that was not the case.

Currently, the U.S Congress wants to investigate the UFO project. Certain members of the U.S House are not happy with the lie about the spending of US money.

The continued investigation into UFO phenomenon by the US government shows there is something to be concerned about. If they take the matter seriously, then so should we.

Operation Plate

In 1977 the Brazilian Air Force conducted an investigation into UFO sightings. Due to the shape of the objects reported in the sky the project was nicknamed Operação Prato (Operation Plate). Air Force officials oversaw the operation in Colares, a city in the state of Pará.

Residents of the city had reported seeing many strange lights in the sky that they could not explain. Citizens even described seeing beams of light shooting down from the sky and sucking the blood out of peoples bodies!

Therefore, after receiving many sightings of UFOs, the Air Force began to investigate.

They were able to photograph bizarre saucer-shaped lights flying in the sky.

The Brazilian Air Force took many photographs of saucer-shaped objects in the sky.

However, Airforce Officials abruptly canceled the UFO study after just four months of investigation. A military statement noted there is nothing supernatural occurring in the area.

Many Brazilian Ufologists believe there has been a massive cover-up of the truth behind Operation Plate.

The COMETA Report

French UFO researchers put together the Committee for In-Depth Studies (COMETA Report). The report was an unofficial French UFO case study carried out in the 1990’s.

Compiled of high ranking scientists and military officials, the report aimed to look at UFO sighting reports and come to a conclusion about the whole phenomena.

They managed to conclude that on average 5 percent of UFO cases are inexplicable. With so many reported sightings, even five percent is a very large number to ignore.

The COMETA report is very comprehensive.

It includes numerous unsolved UFO cases and sightings of an unidentified aerial phenomenon. They also look at the current knowledge of said aircraft and the possible threats and dangers they pose to the defense of our world.

Project Condign

Between 1997 and 2000, the UK Defense Intelligence Staff conducted a UFO study. They examined around 10,000 cases of reported UFO sightings.

Government officials compiled the project into an unclassified document named “Unidentified Aerial Phenomena in the UK Air Defence Region.

A judge released the unclassified document to the public in 2006. UFO researchers Dr. David Clarke and Mr. Gary Anthony requested a Freedom of Information Act for the information from the project a year earlier.

Project Condign

Between 1997 and 2000 the UK ran a secret UFO case study on an alleged 10,000 UFO sightings. Sourced.

As a result, the conclusion of the report was the unidentified aerial phenomena’s have an undeniable presence.

Most importantly, researchers stated the aircraft are not hostile.

Moreover, the research team also noted that airplanes and helicopters are commonly misidentified as unexplained aerial objects in the sky. However, there is a small percentage of UFO cases that are so far unexplainable.

Though the report from Project Condign tries to indicate that the inexplicable cases are the result of a supernormal phenomenon they call Buoyant Plasma Formation.
