Shoot To Kill: Area 51 Trespassers Will Be Treated Like Terrorists
Storm Area 51
Over 1 million people have signed a petition to storm Area 51 on 20 September 2019. The pledge, which started on Facebook, states that they cannot stop ‘all of us‘ if we rush the heavily guarded base. The aim of the raid is to ‘see them aliens.‘
However, the U.S Air Force has put out many warnings against such actions. One stating that the base remains heavily guarded. And another commenting that trespassers on the restricted land will be dealt with like terrorists. Signs posted around the perimeter of the secretive base warn the use of authorized deadly force.
The ‘Storm Area 51’ appears to have begun as a joke. Yet, with so many civilians signing up to it, the Air Force cannot ignore the possible threat.
Despite seeming to start out as a joke, the idea to storm Area 51 really took off. And, if you are planning to participate, you might want to take a look at our ‘What You Need To Know About Area 51‘ guide.
US Air Force Warn Against Area 51 Storm
The United States Air Force made statements that highly developed deadly measures are in place to deal with such an event. However, they have, of course, failed to provide further details on what the ‘deadly measures’ are. Officials from the Area 51 base say that the measures are powerful and that the soldiers guarding the area are well prepared for such an occurrence.
Nellis Air Force Base officials are aware of the Facebook post and highly warn against anyone thinking about participating. Stating that: “any attempt to illegally access the area is highly discouraged.”
Although no one outside the base knows its disclosure, previous documents prove the testing of highly advanced aircraft was run at Area 51. The secrecy surrounding the base has, of course, caused a few conspiracy theories. Mainly to do with alien life and UFOs.
A lot of people believe that storming the base will prove the existence of extraterrestrials. They also feel that evidence of reverse engineering alien spacecraft takes place on the base. These are just two of many Area 51 conspiracy theories flying about.
Area 51 Security
A former Area 51 employee believes that the Area 51 security will treat any trespassers on the area like terrorists.
Thornton TD Barnes worked as part of the security team at the Air Force Base in the 1960s and ’70s. He believes that unauthorized personnel should take caution as the guards have the authorization to shoot on sight.
Furthermore, Mr. Barnes says that a terrorist organization may be behind the whole thing.
“How do those participating know who is behind this plan? How do they even know that the organizers are not connected to ISIS or some other adversary or enemy using them to disrupt or penetrate the national security of the United States?”
Buried motion sensors carry out surveillance of the area. Orange posts outline the perimeter of Area 51. Guards in white trucks and camouflage fatigues continuously patrol the area. So far, it is unclear as t who employs the guards, however, there are rumors that contractors such as AECOM employ them. Furthermore, there are constant reminders and signs posted around the perimeter stating that deadly force is authorized against intruders.
The surrounding area is equipped with technology that alarms guards to trespassers. Motion detectors and surveillance cameras help maintain border control. Furthermore, some of these devices are actually deployed in public land away from the base in order to prepare the guards for anyone approaching.
Area 51 Warning
In January of this year, Area 51 guards shot dead a man attempting to enter the base. This should come as a clear warning to anyone intent on storming the base.
The unnamed man sped past a security checkpoint at Mercury on January 28th. A car chase quickly ensures. When the man stopped to exit and approach the base on foot Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) officers authorized him to stop. However, the man continued and Area 51 security shot him dead.
The security of the area does not take any risks. And all precautionary measures are carried out to ensure outsiders are not permitted to enter.
